In 2010 he entered Gestamp and began his professional career within the automotive components multinational. He is the current Plant Manager of Gestamp Vigo. Fernando Royo began his professional career in General Motors in 2005. In 2010, he entered Gestamp as the President Assistant. After more than 6 years, he became the Sales Controlling and Marketing Director. And in 2016, he started his current position as Plant Manager of one of the production plants of the automotive components company in Spain: Gestamp Vigo. Royo is an industrial engineer by the Zaragoza University. He also studied Business Administration and Management (UNED). Besides, he has the CLEPA Global Management Programme, studied in the Harvard Business School (MITSUI -— HBS Global Management Academy) and in the lE University (Transformative Leadership Executive Programme).
