Javier Cervera

Head of Energy Transition at Baleària

He holds a degree in Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
In 2005, he joined the energy sector at Unión Fenosa, where he worked for 14 years in the world of utilities in the areas of commercial management and business development.
In 2019, he moved from the energy sector to the maritime sector, where he joined the shipping company Baleària, leading the Company's energy transition actions, both in the development of the company's LNG strategy and in the introduction of new biofuels.
Since 2014 he has been a member of the board of directors of the Association of Energy Engineers, and is currently the President of the Association in Spain.
Since 2023 he has been President of the Net Zero Mar Alliance, for the decarbonisation of the national maritime-port sector.
