The University Institute for Automotive Research (INSIA) is a Research Center of the Universidad Politécnica Madrid. It was the first research center in the field of motor vehicles in Spain and from its intelligent systems unit it is currently developing technologies for cooperative autonomous driving, ADAS systems, driver assistance based on automation, vehicle positioning on electronic maps and other elements of the vehicle of the future.
